Hello, Marisa here! Welcome to my little corner of the Internet.

I started this blog-journey back in August of 2010, right before I moved from sunny Southern California to San Francisco to start college.  It was a terrifying, exciting, life-changing move and it was the best thing to ever happen to me.  I have grown braver, more laid back, and basically feel almost like a real adult now.  Almost.

Basically, I try my best to record my experiences as an undergraduate learning to live in San Francisco.  Whether I'm talking about weekend trips, college advice, amazing restaurants, and hanging out with friends, I try to add my own quirky voice to all of my posts.  Also, I like posting pictures.  Lots and lots of pictures.

Now for a little about me...

 I love my family.
Seriously, I do.  This is actually my second year of living with my grandparents in the city, and I honestly am loving it.  They're close to school, cook amazing food, and have made my college experience so unique that I can't even hope to be able to explain it.

I am actually incredibly close with my whole family, my brother Trevor in particular. I just love the guy.

I have the cutest dogs in the world.
Yes, that is a fact.

I love going to school.
Specifically, I love the opportunity to learn so many things and meet so many people.  Also, I'm really good at being a student.  I am majoring in English Literature and minoring in Art History, both of which make me a bit difficult to employ.  So, in an attempt to postpone the real world a little longer, I hope to pursue another interest and attend law school after graduation.

I enjoy:

I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little about me, and that you decide to hang out here for a while.  Then you can follow my thoughts and experiences through my final year of college!
